A number of the Hunt County Woodturners Inc. board members took it upon them themselves to build a wheel chair ramp for a fellow member, Bill Oliver, to allow him to get out of the house. He has a motorized scooter as well as a wheel chair. After the ramp was completed he made a trip to his shop and was able to sit under his big pecan tree and enjoy life. It seemed to lift his spirits just being able to get outdoors. Involved in the building were Clyde Marks, Bob Calvert, Dan Henry, Fred Uphoff, and Mike Kizer.
