About the event
Come spend the day learning from professional woodturning artist, Gary Sanders. Â This all-day class will focus on learning how to create your very own veneer pendant necklace. Â Gary Sanders teach you and guide you step by step in learning:
- glue up steps
- turning process
- adding embellishments
- sanding steps
- finishing process
Participants are to bring:
- Turning tools: bowl or spindle gouge, parting tool
- Face sheild that meets or acceeds ANSI Z87+ (High Impact), such as this Uvex Bionic Face Shield
- Dust mask or respirator if sensitive to dust
- One C-Clamp or other clamp that has an openning size of 4" and throat size of 3", such as this Bessey Clamp
- Files to make decorative cuts
- Magnifying glassÂ
- Optional: Rotary tool with small carving burrs
