About the event
Open Shop is always held in a different club member's shop each month. Though an informal social event, lathes are set up for just in time learning for those newer to turning. Mentoring new members and new turners is always a main component at every Open Shop. Members often use Open Shops to try out varous types of new turning techniques demonstrated at the Thursday night meeting.
