About the event

Ready to add some flair to your turning? Our upcoming full-day Offset Woodturning class will guide you through fun, practical projects including offset ducks, a small twisted bowl, and an offset Christmas tree. You’ll learn how to mark and remount blanks for intentional offsets, choose the right tools, and maintain good control while the piece spins off-center. Safety, proper sharpening, and different mounting options will be emphasized throughout, so you leave with both finished (or nearly finished) pieces and the confidence to try more offset work on your own. Bring your curiosity—this is a relaxed, intermediate-level, hands-on session. It’s an ideal next step for anyone comfortable with basic spindle turning who wants to explore offset designs.
